Condition and detangle. After washing, apply a generous amount of Curl Detangler & Conditioner to wet hair. Distribute evenly from roots to ends. Working in sections, gently detangle with your fingers, a detangling brush, and/or a wide-tooth comb — start at the ends and work up. Rinse thoroughly, or leave in for added moisture and easier detangling.
Define. Place a moderate amount of Flaxseed Curl Cream in your hands and rub them together. Apply evenly to soaking-wet, conditioned, detangled hair from roots to ends using your fingers. For shorter hair, massage evenly throughout.
Add hold — optional, sold separately. For 3C–4B curls, or any curl type wanting more definition, apply Sir Flax Flaxseed Curl Enhancing Jelly on top of the cream, working section by section. As it dries, the jelly forms a gel cast that locks the shape and keeps frizz down.
Dry. Air dry or diffuse. If you used the Jelly, scrunch the cast only once hair is completely dry — some firmness remains, and that's the jelly doing its job.
